This was a crazy idea that came to me suddenly almost as in
a vision, and I had to get it implemented as soon
as possible.
NOTE: I'm not planning on developing this into an actual game,
it's a one-off silly demo I made in a bout of sleep-deprived
coding.
It came together pretty quickly because I already
have Myst and
Another World
code and assets from my Apple II ports
I always felt the ending to MYST was a bit unsatisfying,
I think Atrus showing up with a dragon to rescue you would
have been much better.
I also like this answer to the reason why you can't just
swim to the clock island in Myst.
